The Phoenix is an immortal bird that is associated with Greek mythology, it is said to continually regenerate or be ‘Born again’, associated with the Sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its old self. this would be a lovely gift for someone who has reinvented themselves in some way, or just because they love the idea of the mythical bird.
This 9 carat gold phoenix is set with a beautiful apple green peridot stone , this was hand carved in wax , and a mould was made and then this one was cast in solid 9 carat yellow gold. I can have one made up in other metals too if you wish, and set with other stones.
A ruby would work very well with this theme.
