Helen Burrell Commissions

Intuitive design, combined with my experience working with precious metals, stones and materials enable me to create beautiful jewellery for you that can encapsulate your special memories.

Engagement and wedding rings. I help my clients with working out the best choices of stones and creating a special design for their partner to suit their budget.

Previous commissions for dress rings, pendants, necklaces bracelets, and earrings are featured in my portfolio.

My jewellery is a departure from the usual, in that it symbolically translates ideas into 3D form. Examples of this are my unique ‘Life story necklaces’ created already for my clients. These can be seen in the portfolio.

If you have a story to tell, or an experience that is precious to you, you can have it interpreted and made into a gift for yourself or for that special person in your life.

If you don’t have family pieces to rework, I can supply any new materials for you for a special design to be made up with these ideas in mind.

Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your ideas with me.

Memorial Jewellery

If you have inherited family pieces of jewellery that are not in your style, I can rework them for you into something new and beautiful to wear.

Rings could be made into necklaces for example, or an old wedding band could be used as a shank on one of my ring designs or made into hoop earrings. This would keep the sentimental attachment to your family and you could still have something new, and keep your special pieces as wearable keepsakes.

Please feel free to enquire.

The Brighton jewellery collection is a selection of my clients’ family jewellery gathered together, I was asked to create a necklace from them, reworking the gold using most of these pieces to symbolically reflect a theme of Brighton beach and Monets’ garden, which were some of her favourite places.’ Below is finished piece.

The Forest floor ring , This was created from new gold , but I used the gold from my clients mothers’ ring to do the details such as the pebbles and leaves, and reset her diamond , a new large diamond was supplied as the central feature.

This was a family wedding band divided into two, and reformed as a simple matching pendant, each one to be given to two sisters so that they would each have a memorial of their mother.

The finished piece from the Brighton jewellery collection above.

CAD Design

The benefits of computer aided design are that exact details can be requested, and then seen as an image before the piece is made, this gives my clients confidence that the piece described and designed for them will be as they visualized it.

My recent commissions have been about working with my clients and my CAD team to create some beautiful rings, some of which are illustrated here.

Many thanks to my clients for these lovely commissions.

“Helen provided my wife and I with an excellent professional service, which was an honest and enjoyable experience from our first contact to the finished bespoke rings she created for my wife. Helen took time to fully understand my wife’s requirements and came up with two fantastic designs that met the brief perfectly and were subsequently commissioned. Without hesitation, we would go straight to Helen for any future pieces and have no reservation in recommending her brilliant results.

Thank you both so much, it was lovely to meet you and work with you both to achieve your special designs, and it’s really good to have met your expectations too.

Thanks again for trusting me with your commissions, I really appreciate it.”
